The consequences of attacks on email inboxes are very serious. Hackers can gain access to confidential information, correspondence, login credentials, credit card numbers and use them for identity theft. Seized accounts can be used to send spam and malware. Seniors can lose access to their email accounts. The transfer of data can lead to unauthorized transactions and financial losses. In addition, clicking on links or attachments can lead to the installation of malware can damage the computer and make it unusable.
