Mr. Thomas decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Using the restaurant’s public Wi-Fi network, he opened his email to check the latest news. Unfortunately, unaware of the dangers of public Wi-Fi networks, he failed to secure his connection.

As a result of a Man-in-the-Middle attack, the criminal intercepted his email login credentials, resulting in unauthorized access to his account and a potential leak of sensitive information.
